Charting a slightly different course over an old map-- one that prioritizes looking in new directions above blazing new trails-- Colin Bradley's alt mix preserves all the kid-gloved elegance of the original while recasting the slant of its light. The electric piano's white satin gets a deeper sheen; once-splashy drums echo rudimentarily; tinkling wind-chimes are supplanted by an eerie rooftop twitter. If the overall impression is one of fog, Graham Sutton's voice moves through it like a carried lamp, beaconing consistently until it, too, gutters away into the murk.
